Is being anti-USMCA the official stance of the party?

I’m confused because a president who destroyed the TPP the moment he got in office, has been against NAFTA since forever, and was a member of the Reform Party for years, is the one spearheading this agreement.

The agreement aids relations between Mexico, the U.S., and Canada, but is primarily geared towards the U.S. It also makes us less reliant on other continents, a drastic shift from the TPP which would have given Asia complete control over the U.S. economy. USMCA does not violate privacy, security, and freedom on the Internet, something the TPP would have done.

The USMCA does not create a North American Union. It’s not even an economic alliance like the ones Europe has; it’s just a trade deal. While I understand not wanting an unelected group to regulate it, the deal is meant to be enforced based on its terms, not the whims of its regulators.

So explain to me exactly why the Reform party would consider the USMCA to be at the level of the TPP or European economic alliances when it’s only meant to function at the same level as NAFTA, just with a change in terms and regulations for goods and services. Because it’s hard for me to see why a trade deal that prioritizes the U.S. and nearby nations is worse than waiting for a regime change by actual globalists who want to make the U.S. economy subservient to the interests of Eurasia.

NAFTA made “American” – but in reality international corporations lacking any loyalty other than to themselves – rich at the expense of Mexican workers, and American small & medium business owners & workers. It was in no way a “free trade,” but a “managed trade” agreement – so even its name was (intentionally) misleading. From what I can tell, USMCA is an improvement, although still heavily tilted towards exporting manufacturing jobs to Mexico. In other words, you will still hear “that sucking sound” that Mr. Perot was talking about, just as you will almost certainly find foreign agents proudly serving the current crop of “Democrats” & “Republicans” (just like they served in the campaigns of Bill Clinton and George Bush).
