William Drummond II has been elected Chairman of the Reform Party of Florida to succeed William Dopf. William Drummond is a seasoned political veteran that has served at numerous capacities for the Reform Party. Before his successful election to the chairman position, Drummond served as the Reform Party of Florida’s treasurer and as the vice chair on the Reform Party Communications Committee. For a brief time during the 2012 Reform Party National Convention, William Drummond presided as acting Chairman of the National Committee. He has also ran twice for a House seat.
“William Drummond is a top notch committee member,” said National Chairman David Collison. “He was one of the hardest workers on the communications committee, and I am sure he will provide the necessary leadership to revitalize the Reform Party of Florida”.
The Reform Party of Florida is currently one of three Reform Party affiliates with state wide ballot access, and the only Reform Party state ballot line to host a presidential candidate in 2012.
The Reform Party of Florida is looking for new officers, organizers and volunteers to help with outreach, recruitment and fundraising.
His wife, Rhonda Drummond will succeed him as treasurer. Donna Shankle was elected to another term as Vice-Chairman and will continue as the South East Representative on the Reform Part National Committee.
